Gierre & Son was born in 2007 as results of decades of experiens in artigianal men shoes.

Located in Casalnuovo, a small town next to Naples, home for lots of important artisan well known around the world, Gierre is oriented to international markets, where is recognized as a factory of great prestige.

Each of the almost 30 employes has great skill and experience: most of them have been working with Mr Romanelli for decades, keeping a sort of familiar flavour that gives to each pair of shoes a story to tell.

The peculiarity of Gierre is having the entire supply chain inside, from the modeling to the boxing dept : in this way each step is kept under control and meets high quality standards.

The cut is made by hand in order to avoide any leather defect, and to choose the perfect position for the upper.

As well sewing dept. is inside: this help us to be very fast in case of sample collection or problem with the pattern to be changed.

We constantly renew our machinery, to guarantee the best possible help to the skilled hands of our craftsmen: it is important to underline that no machine can replace the experience in the field and the careful eye of our workers.

After the blake seam, the milling, the rolling, and the coloring of the sole, the shoe arrive at the finishing department where it come to life: about 10 hand-made steps, which take hours and hours.

Most of our footwear is cut into the crust leather and finished with the colors desired by the designers: we can create every shade required, meeting any request.

The result is unmistakable despite the many and awkward imitations.

Our shoes are truly Made in Italy by italian, with the aim to continue family tradition, while looking to the future.
